Common Name - Senecio herreianus, String of watermelons

Country of Origin -South Africa and Nambia

How to grow - Mature Senico's are very drought tolerant but do not like being wet for long periods, during the winter keep dry and it will survive the colder temperatures. Senico can get leggy, if this happens don't be afraid to trim it back to firmer growth.

Hardiness - -2c 

Description - Larger and chunkier leaves than String of Pearls with stripes running through the leaves, trails beautifuly with the normal Senecio flowers.

 

 

All plants will be shipped bare root.   grown in a 9cm pot
