Common Name -Aloe brevifolia

Country of Origin - Western Cape South Africa

How to grow - Aloe are pretty tough plants, able to cope with extreme drought conditions for long periods. They need bright light to do well and make great house plants if in a bright spot. They prefer warmer temperatures but can cope with lower temperatures if dry as they will go dormant. Never allow them to sit in water and make sure they are in a free draining potting mix. They can quickly fill the pot, repot if needed in the spring when they are growing.

Hardiness -  -1 +

Description - RHS Award of Garden Merit and listed as Endangered in the wild. This Aloe has lovely compact growth and when planted out for the summer in the UK will thrive in a sunny spot with well drained soil. Tall flowers, offshoots from around the base and blue/green foliage
