Common Name - Agave parryi var. huachucensis 'wakefield'
Country of Origin -  USA - Seed strain from a population of large growing plants in Arizona where it grows at high elevations. 
How to grow - Agaves are very tolerant of soil types as long as its well drained, mature plants can cope very well with drought but younger plants may need more water in dry conditions. They make ideal pot plants as they have shallow roots but they quickly fill a pot so planting in the ground if possible is best. If well drained will tolerate frost.

Description - Large growing variant of Parryi, grows up to 2foot tall and 4 foot wide! Hard to find in the UK. Silvery grey leaves. Dark spikes. Tight rosettes.
