Common Name - Agave americana Mediopicta
Country of Origin - Mexico - Southern USA
How to grow - Agaves are very tolerant of soil types as long as its well drained, mature plants can cope very well with drought but younger plants may need more water in dry conditions. They make ideal pot plants as they have shallow roots but they quickly fill a pot so planting in the ground if possible is best. If well drained will tolerate frost.
Hardiness - -8c (With good drainage)
Description - An unusual varigated Agave, instead of the more common yellow varigation it has a white/cream colour in the center of the leaves. A really eye catching plant for the garden.
